and you will make the best speech,
you will ever regret.”

Hi Lee, I respectfully differ from this journalists words. I believe that we must feel to heal – go through to come out, speak and live our truth whatever the emotion. Many people who have chosen to work with me, did so because they felt that their wishes were not being heard or acknowledged by their loved ones, because their wants differed from what their families wanted for them. For many the result of NOT expressing our anger, or any emotion really, meant that they hung onto the hurt, resentment or anger which ended up as a dis-ease in their body. Discontent does not simply go away! It has a need to be expressed to be resolved or come to a place of acceptance. Unfortunately around the world, unexpressed Anger is boiling over into violence. Hence, many manage their lives choosing medically prescribed Depression or alternately an addiction as a way of ‘avoiding’ feeling their feelings and moving forward to living their ‘Truth with Passion’. Namaste Lynne

Oh , hi Lynne. Thanks for your comments. I understand your point clearly but at the same time I feel I understand the journalist’s intent too. I know of people who got into big time trouble because they verbalized their anger ‘without much thought’- and they literally live to regret it. I think that was what the late journalist meant. Luv n light! 🙂

Oops. I forgot to add Lee, It’s not ‘whether’ we express our Anger – it’s about HOW we express our discontent while at the same time honouring the other person.

Ha..ha..thanks for the clarification, Lynne. Yes, a lot of pent-up anger is surfacing. In fact I’m seeing a lot of unresolved past karma surfacing these few years & some go way..way.. back, if you know what I mean. I’ve been helping some of them with reiki. 🙂
