Mastering Emotions

“Until I have mastered my emotions and reactions to external events, I’m like a fragile boat sailing in uncharted waters – always liable to be sunk by the unpredictable sea of life.

But when inner calmness and clarity are attained, the volatility of the waves seems inconsequential. Not that the waves aren’t real – instead it’s as if the boat will float no matter what it is subjected to.

Calmness seems to be a fertile ground for the growth of confidence.”

I’d agree with that. How would you suggest your readers do that?
