Color Of Empowerment

The prevalent theme of the times – self-empowerment, is evidently displayed by the many group activisms, carried out around the world , to highlight common dissatisfaction towards current heads of religious groups, corporations, governments, etc. . Interestingly, within our subtle energy, there are seven main energy centers (i.e. chakras) that connect to the physical body and one of these centers pertains directly to the said personal power / self-esteem. This center is often known as the 3rd chakra or the solar plexus chakra, which is located around the navel. The element associated with it is fire and its corresponding color is yellow. People who are courageous and possess perseverance are often described as those who have ‘fire in their belly’.

In my reiki practice (a non-religious healing modality involving universal energy), clairvoyants see rays of light literally flowing into the recipients of reiki. Generally speaking, whatever color that appears is the color that the recipient needs. If these recipients are dis-empowered people or those who see themselves as victims of life, often the yellow ray will manifest and flow into their aura! This is because people with low self-confidence tend to have a weak 3rd chakra and the yellow frequency of energy is much needed. Intuitively, I believe human beings know that yellow represents power, as royalties in certain countries do have their formal attire in that color. People who practise color therapy are also aware of the functions that each color seems to perform.

As more and more people stand up for their personal rights these days, the color yellow returns in grander ways than before, leading towards an empowered humanity and… a brighter future ahead. When people can see the light of day even during difficult times, it is because they are literally beaming with confidence and emanating ….. the Light from within.
