Heart Based Living

“I am not sure exactly what heaven will be like, but I know that when we die and it comes time for God to judge us, he will not ask, ‘How many good things have you done in your life?’ rather he will ask, ‘How much love did you put into what you did?” – Mother Teresa

I believe the late Mother Teresa was a compassionate person as well as a very wise soul. The aforementioned quote’s emphasis is on the intent of a person rather than just the action itself. If one’s motive is pure and sincere, then the act carries so much more ‘value’. This is what I have learnt from many cases of Near Death Experience (e.g. Dannion Brinkley), spirit communication by gifted mediums (e.g. Lisa Williams)and Life Between Life hypnotic regressions (e.g. Dr. Michael Newton) over the last twenty years. All these sources speak consistently of what happens in the Spirit world – everything will be revealed and our intent cannot be concealed . For example a rich person may have donated a huge amount of money to a charitable organisation but it will mean very little from the Divine’s point of view if the true purpose was to seek publicity for oneself and not from one’s Love/Compassion for others.

So many gifted people (who channel messages from the Other Side) have reminded us to carry out heart-based action for the evolution of our soul hinges upon the purity of our heart. As such, I feel everyone including myself need to be self-aware and ask ourselves periodically this question :

“How authentic am I?”
