Speaking Up & Ending Control

“If you don’t have fear, you can’t be controlled.”

The above is a short but profound message channeled from the Other Side. Pondering the statement reminds me of how much control humanity has been subjected to, by dominating parties throughout history. Control has been exercised via national politics (e.g. governments warning voters of impending chaos if they voted for opposition parties when nearing election times & the passing of suppressive laws), corporate politics (e.g. superiors threatening subordinates with the proverbial ‘glass ceiling’ or demotion, if they don’t toe the line), religion (e.g. preachers frightening followers of not being able to ‘go to heaven’ if they don’t practice their dogma), technology (e.g. subliminal messages in mass media), science (e.g. manipulation of micro-organisms such as virus to be a bio-weapon), economy (e.g. formation of cartels) , etc..

In my opinion, if humanity at large wishes for a better future, then I think the first step is to digest the aforementioned quote. If each of us ‘ordinary citizen’ can stop caving in to fear and start voicing our displeasure over threats of all kinds, and pool our resources together , then I feel the higher echelons of society would falter in their power grab and control of the world’s resources. To end this short blogpost, I insert yet another quote below, from the late Martin Luther King, Jr.

“Our lives begin to end, the day we become silent about things that matter.”
