The famous actor Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991. He told the audience at the event (Comic Con 2022) that his co-actor of the Back To The Future movies, Christopher Lloyd has always been there supporting him over the years.
It was also reported that Fox said “Parkinson’s is the gift that keeps on taking – but it’s a gift, and I wouldn’t change it for anything.”
“People like Chris have been there a lot for me, and so many of you have. It’s not about what I have, it’s about what I’ve been given — the voice to get this done, and help people out.”
The purpose of my writing this post is because I have always admired people who deal with life’s challenges head-on, instead of just lamenting how bad their situation is. Over the years, I have learned from so many spiritual sources that life is purposeful and that souls incarnating as humans is not a random event. As to date Fox has written 4 inspiring books and raised millions in funds for Parkinson’s research.
