Re-listening to the above hit song released in the 90’s today, reminded me how hauntingly beautiful the lyrics are. I opine the words still apply to humanity now. As technology has become more advanced and society , more complex , the need to return to a simpler way of living and the authenticity of self can’t be overemphasised. Being more advanced in technology doesn’t equate to being wiser and balanced. Thus mental health problems and depression cases are increasing. When rock bottom is hit, the only salvation is to look within for the spark of love. And Love is the innocence of the soul. Life doesn’t have to be a struggle but humans have made it so.
