You see, where we are from , there is no task , there is no time pressure, there is no expectation, there is no need for a particular outcome. We are simply doing what we are passionate about and we enjoy. We are simply doing whatever we are doing from a state of being at rest and at ease. And so to do nothing is a very important skill. If you can allow yourself to be bored, if you can allow yourself to take your hands off things that aren’t working in particular and just give it a rest , most things work out on their own in the course of time with very few exceptions. Unless you are in immediate physical danger, doing nothing is always an option and it is actually an action … to take the action of inaction can be a very valid choice. Even farmers understand. A good farmer knows that after so many years you need to allow the ground to lay fallow for a time. And so they will not plant at all for a season, in order to give the ground the time to be replenished.”
