Past Life Influences

Granted, not everyone in this world believes in past lives or reincarnation. So the title of this post may put off certain readers. Nevertheless, I write for those who are open to this long held belief that we humans live more than once. Apart from the Buddhists and Hindus, the ancient Egyptians also believe that souls do reincarnate. In my reiki healing work (energy balancing modality), I do come across clients who show traces of past life influences, physically as well as emotionally.

For example, Archangel Michael indicated to me that one of my earlier clients had a traumatic lifetime spent in the seas. I was made to understand that the person worked somewhat like a slave on a ship in a past life. However, since I can’t personally guarantee that my divine readings are 100% accurate every time, I just asked the said client if he would have any unusual reaction towards the seas. To my astonishment, he promptly replied that he is terrified of going to the beach. Even when he took his children to the beach for an outing, he dared not spend too much time in the waters! Hence, his phobia seems to have originated from a past life.

Another surprising case was when a lady was extremely curious as to why she was so lucky in love, as she managed to marry a husband who is very handsome although she herself was average looking. On top that, she told me that her spouse would literally entertain any of her requests, so much so that she could ‘manipulate’ him, if she wanted to. When I consulted Archangel Michael again, it was revealed to me that she and her husband had a shared past life, in which the husband murdered her during that lifetime. So, this present life turned out to be an opportunity for the husband to ‘repay his karmic debt’ , in which he gladly catered to his wife’s wants and needs. This case also illustrates that the balancing of karma can take shape in other ways and doesn’t necessarily require the husband to be killed for it to be neutralised.

Yet another interesting case was one revealed to me by my reiki student, who visited India . During that trip, she went for a hypnotic regression therapy and was able to recall a past life whereby she was a lady in ancient China , forced to wear very tight and small shoes. In this present life, her toes were curled together and often had problems walking. Her doctor told her it was a case arthritis. Although the present day diagnosis could be correct, apparently the root cause goes way back in time.

Over the years several spiritually gifted people have channeled that our past lives are not lost because these still exist within the energy field of our DNAs as information. It has been elaborated that our DNAs are not just biological/physical molecules, as these also possess a non-physical attribute (multi-dimensional) that holds memories, which include past incarnations. Correspondingly, such memories can and do exert an influence on us humans, in this lifetime.

Although I am not a quantum scientist, that revelation certainly helps explain my aforementioned cases. As the saying goes, everything happens for a reason. So, just because we can’t decipher every peculiarity in life, it doesn’t mean that its reason is non-existent.

When there is an effect, there IS always a cause.

A substantial number of such therapeutic sessions have been uploaded on YouTube. Hence, one may search for such videos if they have such a thirst for such knowledge.]

Learning From The Dead

Do dead people still talk? Well according to world renowned psychic medium , James Van Praagh, those departed souls not only still converse but often relay very wise advice to those still having a physical incarnation on Earth. James explained in his book called Unfinished Business that souls have on many occasions expressed to him their regrets of not doing the things they could have, would have or should have done when they were ‘alive’. The reason for my posting this article is because Archangel Gabriel prompted me recently to give a talk about this topic to a group of friends of mine. (Note: Archangel Gabriel is often known to work with people who help relay spiritual messages. Years ago, that being appeared when I was writing my book, Passion For Truths.) The rationale is because no one knows how much time they have left in this world and as such we ought to live life to the fullest and without regrets.

Interestingly, not long after that angelic visitation, my attention was drawn to a YouTube video testimonial of a person who had a Near Death Experience (NDE) by the name of Peter Anthony. Peter explained that he actually died on an operating table of a hospital in 1987 at 11:11 pm on 11th November (11-11). His soul floated above the physical body and then crossed over to the Other Side. In that dimension, he was given a chance to review his life by seeing many moments where he could have, should have or would have done something but didn’t. After the review, his soul was given a choice to either remain in the spirit world or to return to his human life. He decided to choose the latter and make amends by practicing loving and considerate actions after returning to his physical body. Peter’s case is so similar to the content of James’ book in the sense that the ultimate message to us is NOT to procrastinate or hesitate. So often we humans hold back our passion or inner desire to wait for the ‘right’ moment to do something but not understanding that sometimes the perfect time might never come.

And so, if you have a strong urge or inner calling to do something (e.g. start a project) or to express yourself (e.g. to tell someone that we love him/her or to apologise to people whom we have hurt), we might want to take a cue from Nike’s slogan – ‘Just Do It’….. before it is too late.

As they say, Life is too short for regrets…and this is what the Dead can teach us about Life itself.

The Science Behind Life Itself

“Quantum physicists discovered that physical atoms are made up of vortices of energy that are constantly spinning and vibrating; each atom is like a wobbly spinning top that radiates energy. Because each atom has its own specific energy signature (wobble), assemblies of atoms (molecules) collectively radiate their own identifying energy patterns. So every material structure in the universe, including you and me, radiates a unique energy signature. If it were theoretically possible to observe the composition of an actual atom with a microscope, what would we see? Imagine a swirling dust devil cutting across the desert’s floor. Now remove the sand and dirt from the funnel cloud. What you have left is an invisible, tornado-like vortex. A number of infinitesimally small, dust devil–like energy vortices called quarks and photons collectively make up the structure of the atom. From far away, the atom would likely appear as a blurry sphere. As its structure came nearer to focus, the atom would become less clear and less distinct. As the surface of the atom drew near, it would disappear. You would see nothing. In fact, as you focused through the entire structure of the atom, all you would observe is a physical void. The atom has no physical structure—the emperor has no clothes! Remember the atomic models you studied in school, the ones with marbles and ball bearings going around like the solar system? Let’s put that picture beside the “physical” structure of the atom discovered by quantum physicists. No, there has not been a printing mistake; atoms are made out of invisible energy not tangible matter!

So in our world, material substance (matter) appears out of thin air. Kind of weird, when you think about it. Here you are holding this physical book in your hands. Yet if you were to focus on the book’s material substance with an atomic microscope, you would see that you are holding nothing. As it turns out, we undergraduate biology majors were right about one thing—the quantum universe is mind-bending. Let’s look more closely at the “now you see it, now you don’t” nature of quantum physics. Matter can simultaneously be defined as a solid (particle) and as an immaterial force field (wave). When scientists study the physical properties of atoms, such as mass and weight, they look and act like physical matter. However, when the same atoms are described in terms of voltage potentials and wavelengths, they exhibit the qualities and properties of energy (waves)… The fact that energy and matter are one and the same is precisely what Einstein recognized when he concluded that E = mc2. Simply stated, this equation reveals that energy (E) = matter (m, mass) multiplied by the speed of light squared (c2). Einstein revealed that we do not live in a universe with discrete, physical objects separated by dead space. The Universe is one indivisible, dynamic whole in which energy and matter are so deeply entangled it is impossible to consider them as independent elements.”

The above is a quotation of Dr Bruce Lipton, author of Biology of Belief. Years ago, gifted people who channel messages from the Spirit World/ Afterlife have already mentioned that as the consciousness of humanity shifts and expands, there will be a melding of spirituality and science. Science is now giving validation to teachings of spiritual masters who taught about the existence of life force , also known as ‘chi’, ‘prana’ or ‘ki’ long ago. As a reiki practitioner, I am glad that researchers are now giving us such scientific findings, as this lends credence to the healing work I perform. In truth, ‘healers’ like myself don’t really heal our clients. Instead we help balance people’s energy vortices or chakras. We are all vibrational beings of sound and light from Source of Unconditional Love…we are entangled..hence “We Are One.”

Learning From Near Death Experience

What happens in the Afterlife? Of course , majority of us would have to wait for our time of passing over before we can really say what happens. However, if we have been extremely curious and resourceful, we would have found out that there are people who literally have died for a short moment but came back to life, with enlightening descriptions of the after death experience . Such a case is termed as NDE or Near Death Experience. Often NDE has a major impact on the survivor as now the person views life from a wider perspective, having had a personal glimpse of the Other Side.

I have personally read many NDE cases over the years and I find the revelations mind-expanding and very liberating. It is as though my ego is cast aside to make way for the ultimate truth of life. One of the more interesting NDEs that I have come across involves a lady by the name Reinee Pasarow of California, USA.

In May 1966, 16-year-old Reinee Pasarow became unconscious following an allergic food reaction and then had an NDE. The following are excerpts of her testimony :

—–

“I only became aware when I heard the very loud sound of the fire engines arriving. I heard my best friend from elementary school calling to me. She was calling, ‘Reinee, don’t die, don’t die Reinee.’

I heard this and it seemed as if it was in a foreign language to me. I finally computed the meaning of this and realized that my life was in danger. I had an obligation to fight for my life because of my mother and my friend, because she had such terror in her voice that it cut through to my heart.

I tried to fight for my life, but the battle became overwhelming. At this point I just surrendered myself, my soul, to the power that brings us all into existence and that gives us all life. I knew that this was the source of all life and the way of all things. I surrendered to that and I entered a state of peacefulness.

Then just like that (clapping her hands), I became a ball of light or energy in the midst of this crowd that was circling a body. I became massively aware, unlike any awareness I had had during physical existence. I was not really aware of myself. I was aware of everyone around me. I was aware of my mother and my neighbors, and my friends and the firemen and what they were thinking and what they were feeling and what they were hoping and what they were praying. This was such a pummeling input of emotion and information that I was all at once overwhelmed and confused, and rather disoriented.

I followed their attention to something on the sidewalk and I looked at a body on the sidewalk… And then I became aware that the thing on the sidewalk, that thing that suddenly became a piece of meat to me, was what I had identified as myself before, but had no connection with it other than that I had been with it for a very long time. But it had nothing to do with me because suddenly, I was more of a person than I had ever been before. I was more conscious than I could ever be. I was free of the limitations of being a physical being.

…And with that (taps the table) again like this, I was bumped way up, up above some light wires. From that point I could watch everyone beneath me, but I was not as closely associated with them, [but] I was completely feeling everything they were feeling.

I watched my mother and a boy come out of the house and up the hill which I could not have seen physically. I was very sad for my mother. I was very sad for my friend who kept calling me…So my concern was for them. I spent my time observing them and calling to them – calling to them that everything was as it should be, that everything was fine, that I was free, that it was wonderful…. I tried to communicate this to them over and over again and I realized that I had no mouth. I had no body. They could not hear what I was saying to them. I would have to leave them in the same hands I had left myself in the process of dying. With that I turned away, just sort of like a ball, just turned away.

My attention turned away lovingly but knowing that there was nothing I could do. I turned away from them and began to pull up. I became aware, as if I were a camera on a space ship or something, of our place – my particular little street and then my particular little town. I kept pulling up and up and up to a point where I could observe the whole Earth. This was wonderful!

The Earth was alive and the Earth was singing. It was singing a single song and in that song everyone had a voice. Every human being had a very important note to add to this precious song of the Earth. It was a song of love and every living being had something to add to the song of Earth. Every one of these essences was very much connected. I was seeing it not like we see normally. I was seeing it both from a macroscopic – from the point of view of the spaceship – and from a microscopic vantage point. Microscopic in that I could see an amoeba in the ocean was connected to the song of the heart of all humanity; and that this world was responding to the song in our hearts in a miraculous, unified, and beautiful way. I too began too sing. I was so overcome with joy. It wasn’t a song obviously with the mouth. I had no mouth. I had no body. I simply was. I became a part of that song and very full of joy that I could have something to contribute to this sacred beauty of our Earth and of all people.

I became very aware that we as people have a unique influence on the world even if we are not actively doing something. We influence this planet by our state of being. We influence this planet very positively if we are filled with love and respect for others or negatively if our hearts are negative.”

——–

After being out of her body for some time Reinee eventually saw a Being of Light which then told her “It is not time” . That prevented her from moving further forward. She then found herself returning to the physical world.

Reinee’s microscopic and macroscopic view of life from the Other Side is yet another testimony of the ‘We are One’ concept. Today’s scientists even use terms like ‘entanglement’ that connote this theme of how everyone and everything is connected. I truly agree with what many spiritual people have opined – that the only separation that exists between humans is …. one that they create in their mind.

Dead But Not Gone

People who have lost loved ones, may not be able to get over their grief so easily, for various reasons. Some wonder where these souls are or if they even still exist. Because, majority of the world’s populations are not clairvoyants, they don’t see the souls of the departed, even if they are standing right in front of them. World renowned clairvoyant, Doreen Virtue who can see and communicate with departed souls, as well as archangels, have said that it is possible for such souls to end up as people’s guardians or spirit guides.

Personally, I don’t doubt Doreen’s claim. As a reiki practitioner, interesting things do happen during my healing sessions. In one particular case, when I invoked a reiki symbol (i.e. activating a certain type of energy) to connect my client with her divine guide, my client almost immediately saw a flash of light, despite her eyes being closed at that time. In my contact with Archangel Michael, I was told that the lady’s guide has appeared and it is the soul of her deceased brother! When our session ended, my client then confided in me that on a few occasions, she actually sensed the presence of her departed brother, though she didn’t really see him as a live apparition. Her revelation indeed helped validate my angelic communication.

I opine that we as humans, are never alone as I believe we do have divine or heavenly guides around us. Often, we are told that there are many benefits in taking up meditation. While meditating, we indirectly cast aside our ‘mental blocks’ so that we can receive intuitive messages from our spirit guides. For certain people, they can even see their guides with their 3rd eye, during meditations. So, our invisible dimensions are not so empty as they seem. In our death, we merely shed our physical bodies to transition to the vibrations of the unseen dimensions. In that sense, we are eternal spiritual beings and don’t really die.

Death By Agreement!

“Remember too that when it comes to death, this is an agreed-upon choice between your soul, your guides, and God; it’s not entirely God’s call, as so many of my clients assume. The end of your life usually occurs when that soul, not the human, chooses to leave within a window of time called destiny. I’m told that this is also the case with children who get sick or die young. Their souls agreed to take on an illness for their growth or that of the loved ones connected to them. A lot of times when I sit with a client, they’ll say, “I asked God not to take my mom/brother/child yet, and He did!” But God isn’t kicking back in Heaven like, I’ll take . . . that one! Now this one! He’s not calling back souls the way you pluck chocolates out of a box—this truffle first, then that caramel. In fact, God isn’t doing anything to us, but for us, and even then your soul is involved.”

― Theresa Caputo, medium and author of the book “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up: Life Changing Lessons from Heaven”. She also has a popular TV show called Long Island Medium whereby she is shown to give profound and touching readings/messages from the departed souls that bring closure to those still living.

(Note: In my opinion, Theresa is one of the best mediums out there, and is within the league of famous mediums like John Edwards, James Van Praagh and Lisa Williams.)

Revelations From Beyond

Do souls communicate with us after their physical death? Apparently they do, in many ways. They use all forms and methods to get our attention and the book written by Bill and Judy Guggenheim called “Hello From Heaven” is an extensive documentation of such real life cases.

However, not all encounters give us detailed messages from these souls. One of the best ways of obtaining validations is by engaging those who have an uncanny ability to talk to the ‘dead’. Generally, they are called mediums , who perform an intermediary role of relaying information back and forth with residents of the Other Side. One of the more profound cases involve a soul named Erik Medhus, who ended his life by committing suicide with a pistol, when he was only in his twenties. His mother, a doctor, was devastated and went on the path of seeking answers from many sources including engaging mediums. The information she received from her son went beyond talking about why he ended his life. A book was compiled based on such, and bears the title, “My Son and the Afterlife”. The book touches on many topics, ranging from our life purpose, God/Source, consciousness of plants, animals, energy manipulation, telepathy, Afterlife dimensions, etc. .

Thankfully, I find the information shared is very consistent with the works of legendary psychic Edgar Cayce, renowned mediums Lisa Williams & James Van Praagh and in-between lives regressionist Dr. Michael Newton. As they say, knowledge enlightens. When one understands more about the expanded consciousness in Afterlife, this present human lifetime becomes more tolerable and meaningful. In addition, our fear of death, which often is caused by an absence of knowledge, also starts to dissipate.

(Note : To those who would like to have more insights into our divine nature and Afterlife, included in this website is link for free downloading of an e-book “Passion For Truths”. The information within the e-book is compiled from many meta-physical sources which include world renowned mediums’ messages. The content is very consistent with the revelations found in the aforementioned “My Son and the Afterlife.”)
