Love Who You Are!

“”You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.” —Buddha

The above quote resounds with wisdom, I opine. Accordingly, I also feel that unless we truly love and appreciate ourselves, we won’t have the capacity to love others authentically. Periodically in my healing practice, I come across clients with low self-esteem or lack of self-love. There’s an inner voice in them that says things like “I’m not capable”, “I’m overweight and unattractive”, “I’m weak, I can’t change”, “I’m not worthy.” And often harsh words and criticisms from others who are overly judgmental perpetuate this dilemma. Hence, when I came across the above meaningful song by Andy Grammer (see YouTube music video above), I felt it’s a good content to add to my blog, as it’s consistent with my intention of promoting self-empowerment.

Life’s Many Lessons

“Anything that annoys you, is teaching you patience.”

“Anyone who abandons you is teaching you how to stand up on your own two feet.”

“Anything that angers you is teaching you forgiveness and compassion.

“Anything has power over you, is teaching you how to take your power back.”

“Anything you hate is teaching you unconditional love.”

“Anything you fear, is teaching you courage to overcome your fear.”

“Anything you can’t control, is teaching you how to let go.

“Everything In Life Is Teaching You Something!”

– quotes from a social media feed that I just read today. Since those quotes seem to summarise all the things that I have learned from other sources or experienced myself over the years, I just felt like reproducing them in my blog. Intuitively, I just know that as souls, we never stop learning or evolving. Earth, as revealed by many spiritual sources, is considered a tough school, not for the faint hearted. The fact that we have incarnated implies that all of us have what it takes to master the lessons of life. I opine that if we don’t give up on ourselves, life will not give up on us.

It Hurts Sometimes But…

“Don’t try to ignore the hurt, because it is real. Just let the hurt soften you, instead of hardening you.”

– Bryant McGill

In my healing profession, many of my clients have suffered from being hurt.. very often emotionally hurt by others. Some of them tried to ignore or deny it, hence causing ‘trapped emotions’, while others rebelled to even the score, with the related parties. From my observation, both methods don’t seem to yield long-term positive effects. What I have learned from the advice given to me for my clients by angelic beings over the years, closely matches the above quote, hence it resonates with me. In this new year, it’s my fervent hope humanity can adopt a softer approach in dealing with hurt. Often people who hurt us intentionally or unintentionally, have some unresolved issues of their own. Perhaps, practising compassion towards them and ourselves can lead to a more desirable outcome for all.

Tackling Mental Illness/Depression

“I can claim that throughout the Darkness, there were many times that I could have allowed the world to control me , to manipulate me .. but there was a strength inside me and you have it too. There’s a strength inside of you resilient , untarnished, untouched by the world … The truth about mental illness is that no one can go it alone ..that you seek is Connection .. Consciousness is the greatest healer . Consciousness is the Light inside the Soul.. that is there no matter what. It pushes you forward to connect to people .. It beckons you in your darkest nights .. It lights the way inside the Mind down to the dark corridors into the Heart.

You see depression requires action . The only thing that can keep the candle of my soul lit from the Darkness in my mind was action, movement and compassion. The action is the service. You must serve others and complete the cycle of Life for which you were born. I wasn’t born for Royalty. I was born for you. You light that candle and I keep it lit by your energy and I return it to you… You see mental illness requires the service to keep that candle lit. Serve someone , even when your mind tells you that you can’t..serve anyone-deserving or undeserving matters not. Service lights the way to healing. Secondly, you must move. You must exercise.. If you can only move your body an inch, do so..Stretch.. The body needs nature. It needs light and it needs you. We need each other… Action lights the way for others ..and then it returns to the Self and the cycle is complete.”

A mind becomes ill merely because of a lack of connection and if you forge the way and find it, the Light will resume itself in the act of service.. in the act of Consciousness .. in the continual act of connecting to others. This Light will shine!

– message from the soul of the late Princess Diana (often called ‘the Queen of Hearts’) recently channeled by gifted medium Pamela Aaralyn, regarding mental illness.

Responding In Love

When we look at the chaos in the world and ask ourselves ‘How can I respond to this through the lens of LOVE?’, everything changes ! And when each of us does this, it is a ripple effect. It’s like bubbles meeting each other in a glass. Each person becomes the bubble of love. It’s with another person until the whole top of the glass is full of bubbles .. until everyone is full of love. And the more we meet things with love , the less chaos and anger there is, because we are choosing a different frequency. Chaos is there to cause a specific reaction but we must know that we ALWAYS have a choice. The knee-jerk reaction has been conditioned within us but it’s time for us to be mindful… instead of responding in the knee-jerk reaction and this requires noticing our emotions in every moment… Is this how I want to feel about the thing? … How else can I feel about this? It is not easy … but IS possible with daily practice… overcoming darkness of depression through mindfulness… This is the message for the Collective.”

– advice on how to deal with chaotic times as channeled during an SCHH (hypnotherapy session) performed recently by practitioner Karen Stamper.

[ Note : #1. The above is yet another useful advice for humanity and is also incredibly similar to the numerous messages in my previous blogposts. #2. The following are related words of wisdom from a gifted channeler of higher consciousness, Darryl Anka extracted from an interview I stumbled upon one day after the above was posted.]

“Instead of thinking this thing manifested in my life, something must be going wrong. I’m doing something wrong. I shouldn’t be experiencing this . I should be beyond this. If it’s happening, it’s happening for a reason. It’s there maybe even to test yourself to see (if) you are going to react the same old way and give it the same old negative definition that you used to or are you going to respond differently to the situation because.. it’s not about the outside world changing that proves you have changed. It’s about you responding differently to what’s going on, even if it still looks the same. That’s what proves you have changed. Because if you really haven’t changed and you really respond the same old way or react the same old way , well why should the outside world change? … So, reacting differently.. is what actually change is all about and then ultimately will cause the outside to change because it’s just a mirror, it’s just a reflection and it’s like saying ‘I’m looking in the mirror and I’m watching my face frown but I insist that it should smile!’ It’s NOT going to smile until you do.’

Return To Innocence

“Love
Devotion
Feeling
Emotion

Don’t be afraid to be weak
Don’t be too proud to be strong
Just look into your heart my friend
That will be the return to yourself
The return to innocence.

And if you want, then start to laugh
If you must, then start to cry
Be yourself, don’t hide…
Return to innocence.”

– Excerpt of lyrics from the 1990’s No.1 chart topper by the group Enigma.

Re-listening to the above hit song released in the 90’s today, reminded me how hauntingly beautiful the lyrics are. I opine the words still apply to humanity now. As technology has become more advanced and society , more complex , the need to return to a simpler way of living and the authenticity of self can’t be overemphasised. Being more advanced in technology doesn’t equate to being wiser and balanced. Thus mental health problems and depression cases are increasing. When rock bottom is hit, the only salvation is to look within for the spark of love. And Love is the innocence of the soul. Life doesn’t have to be a struggle but humans have made it so.

Our Life’s Purpose?

“I am energy and part of a collective..I have no body, just a sense of being and absolute peace and harmony…. I understand that only two things mattered in the physical place. Love and knowledge had to be experienced in the physical world because there was no way to have sensation in that place (after life environment). We go to the physical world and suffer for the benefit of LOVE and KNOWLEDGE, while the rest is irrelevant. We are all connected. It is best to be kind in the physical place because most of the suffering gets in the way of understanding love and knowledge. But suffering and pain are also necessary as we grow through different physical forms here… I learned enough about knowledge. Now I was to go back and learn about love. The information about love is not what we think here in the physical world. Love is not sexual or possessive but spiritual. Love is more like endless compassion without judgment.”

– description (as extracted from the above YouTube video) of what Rhonda M. learned when she died momentarily (i.e. Near Death Experience) and transitioned to the Other Side.

Being Beautiful !

“Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself” – the late fashion designer Coco Chanel

“To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself.” – the late spiritual teacher Thich Nhat Hanh

It’s wonderful how both a famous fashion designer and a renowned spiritual teacher consistently describe what beauty is!

And The Solution Is LOVE!

“The most important lesson is to Love. There’s no other lesson than to love. Love is a gift. Love is from Source. Source is in everyone and everyone is from Source. Therefore everyone should be loved... therefore actions which don’t express love are ones that should be changed. Whether it is driving and being angry with a circumstance, whether it’s being sad at someone’s circumstance of making poor choices, whether it’s sad at failing to make an optimal choice, these should all be converted to LOVE.”

“Everything is about love. Change brings opportunity to love more. Loss is a form of change. Love can survive change and there will be changes. Loss is any change of expectation. It can be personal. It can be emotional. It can be physical. But the right reaction is to understand that Love survives everything. This is a lesson to be learned.”

– excerpt of divine messages channeled during a recent past life regression (hypnotherapy) conducted by Laron G.S. which also seem to apply to humanity at large during these times of great changes.

It’s Time To Let Go! (TOP GUN Movie Quote)

A touching scene from the movie Maverick : Top Gun

The above is a snapshot of the hit movie Maverick : Top Gun featuring Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer. That scene touched many moviegoers and even men who seldom cry, had tears in their eyes. Basically in that scene, Val Kilmer’s character was advising Tom Cruise’s character to let go of the painful past and move on in life. I can certainly relate to it because that’s also the spiritual message I have been getting from my own angelic communication for my clients. (I work as an energy healer i.e. reiki practitioner). Majority of my clients suffer from holding on to passive thoughts and harmful emotions (guilt, regret, anger, grief, fear, dismay, etc) . So, to truly heal oneself, I opine that we really need to LET GO.

The practice of letting go is even more important during these times of volatility. What is transpiring now on the planet is what I have been blogging in the past decade. The dreaded 2012 year didn’t see the demise of the human race as predicted by many prior to it. Instead it signified the beginning of a new time cycle that would result in huge CHANGES. Holding on to things that no longer serve us would certainly be dreadful. As the actress Dolly Parton has said “If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.” So, to survive and thrive, we need to lighten up by dropping the heavy mental and emotional baggage. And this is what ancient Mayans predicted about 2012… the end of an old cycle and the beginning of a new one that would bring many opportunities for the collective to shift their consciousness (thoughts, feelings, beliefs, etc) to something that’s better than before.
