The Wayshower – Master Lao Tsu

“He who conquers others is strong; he who conquers himself is mighty.”

The above is one of the many quotes by the Ascended Master, Lao Tsu often credited for the teachings of Taoism. Ascended Masters are designations afforded to previously incarnated humans who have evolved to a higher level of consciousness and are very wise souls. Earth is considered a planet of great challenges because it’s enveloped by a ‘veil of forgetfulness’ that causes humans to forget who they really are. As such, the soul within the physical body has to go through a difficult journey of self-realisation and self-mastery – to remember the divinity within and reach one’s highest potential through mastery of one’s thoughts, words and deeds.

The hatred, disharmony and acts of violence we see in our daily lives are some of the effects of us not remembering our divine nature, in which the ego reigns supreme while the internal divinity takes a back seat. However, the severity of this test/experiment on Earth is recognised by Source and as such, every soul that incarnates has a team of spirit guides, to support him/her. Sadly, majority of humans don’t seem to be aware of them. It’s for this reason, I often ask Archangel Michael on behalf of the clients (of my healing therapy work), for the names of their dominant guides. In a few of these cases, the name Lao Tsu, would crop up. When I ask Archangel Michael about the role of Lao Tsu, that angelic being would often reply : “As a teacher who imparts wisdom…to show the way of life.”

Reading Lao Tsu’s aforementioned quote, I sense he was implying that a mighty human is one who is able to conquer his/her own ego. It may take a lot of strength to attack others, but it requires an even greater effort for us to acknowledge our weaknesses (such as pride, jealousy, insecurity, lack of self-worth, indecisiveness, etc.) and to deal with them. Hence, I opine that true success in the external material world hinges upon the battle within.

Taking Charge – Philosophy Of Will Smith

Once in a while, I chance upon great words of wisdom from celebrities. The aforementioned short clip by Will Smith, actor and rapper makes a very good point of how important it is to deal with the situations we’re in. Instead of being angry or spiteful, it’s better to shift our attitude to face our problems head-on. I believe it’s Will’s positive attitude that has helped him to be such a successful entertainer, which he is today. His philosophy ties in with the new age that is upon us i.e. Age of Aquarius , which is all about self-empowerment and moving away from feeling like a victim of life’s circumstances. Truly, the greatest force that can change our lives doesn’t reside in the external world. Instead, it’s one that lies within each of us.

Healing With Light

It’s not fictitious to say that we are all energy beings, even though our body is physical, as by now science has validated this notion that everything is made up of energy. Light itself is energy and comprises a range of frequencies. Our human body also emanates light and ‘visually gifted’ people (clairvoyants) can literally see this glow around us. In my reiki healing practice, I have worked with such talented people before and they have relayed valuable information to me about my clients, as I was performing healing on them. Often, the clairvoyants could see grey and dark areas in certain parts of my client’s body. This vision implies an energy imbalance in those parts of the body. Their readings often tie in with the answers that I obtained from the Archangels about people’s energy vortices (chakras). During reiki healing sessions, clients receive the relevant rays of light to balance their energy. By the time the session ends, clients often feel thoroughly relaxed and peaceful. A proportion of these clients have reported seeing rays of colours being showered upon themselves even with their eyes closed!

One of the ways that a person could perform self-healing is by drawing in White Light from the Universe/Source. The White Light comprises the full range of the rainbow 🌈 colours that make up our chakras. One could just sit down, relax and by the power of intention, call forth the benevolent White Light from Source to enter the top of the head and channel down through the spine and to all the energy points of our body. This exercise could be assisted by one doing some deep breathing. During inhalation, one could imagine drawing the Light into the body from the top. The halo which religious people talk about is actually our crown chakra that appears like a spiral/tornado above our head. During exhalation, one could also imagine pushing out any internal energy blockages. It’s also suggested that one says “I release any form of disharmony or discordant energy in me…NOW! I let it ALL go.” This exercise could be repeated for a couple of minutes in order to allow divine Light to flow efficiently throughout our body.

In our daily lives, we are bombarded by many forms of energy waves and these can have a negative impact on our energy makeup. Common examples are electromagnetic signals from WiFi , cell phones, computers and TVs. Hence, to restore our health, it’s good to seek balance. It’s been said that energy cannot be destroyed but can only be changed or transmuted. By drawing in the harmonious White Light from Source that is all around us, our disturbed energy field could be recalibrated once more.

Productive Use Of Time & Energy

I just read an article concerning the lead singer of the successful band called Imagine Dragons, lamenting how bands often criticize one another. He couldn’t comprehend why people do such things. Although I am not really a big fan of this group, I am aware that cristicisms and crude sarcasms are so prevalent these days and it’s not just in the entertainment industry but also in the political arena. The lead singer, Dan Reynolds said “We have a finite amount of time while we are here to create change and to do great things, to do big things. It’s just to me, counterproductive to all of us as artistes to engage in menial, self-indulgent conversation..”.

Dan added that he attended a seminar whereby Oprah Winfrey described how she got to where she is today. Apparently Oprah expressed that it was all about our intention i.e. “Where do we spend our time?” , “How do we spend our words?” and “What are we going to do with our finite time on Earth?” . In my opinion many people don’t use their time and energy productively. Interestingly, this ties in with the messages channeled from the Other Side by Mr. Lee Carroll which described the general population as little kids in a playground making a lot of noises. Sometime ago, an Archangel described to me the Soul Age (not human age) of most humans here and it seems that the majority of people are just Young Souls, with lower levels of wisdom. Hence many humans are immature and their behavior tends to be self-serving. Lee Carroll’s channeled messages suggested that the more mature souls ought not force these inexperienced Young Souls to change as compulsion often does not lead to desired results. Instead, such people are asked to lead by example – by being tolerant, compassionate and peaceful. As one maintains calmness in the midst of chaos, it is going to cause others to wonder how such a person could achieve that. At some point in time, these younger souls may want to seek advice or help in developing these traits in themselves.

However, one needs to remember that a change in Consciousness takes time. For the moment, I believe it is better for us to do a Life Review of ourselves by asking ourselves questions like the following:

“AM I living to my fullest potential?” and if not, “How can I be the best version of myself?” Such contemplation may lead us to action that utilizes our personal time and energy more productively.

Messages From Beyond – Michael Jackson

There are many gifted people who are able to talk to ‘the departed’ and the more established mediums are people like John Edwards, James Van Praagh, Lisa Williams and Teresa Caputo, who have all done live readings on TV shows and have written best selling books. However , not too long ago, a lesser known medium by the name of Emanuelle McIntosh has impressed me with her mediumship ‘talent’ . One of her more interesting sessions (recorded on YouTube) is her spirit communication with the legendary Michael Jackson. I was so touched by that reading and the information revealed by the late singer about his personal life. Interestingly, while watching the video, I received a divine nudge to write about that session. Hence, the reason for this blogpost.

As most people would already know, Michael was a talented but extremely private person. In the aforesaid spirit communication, Michael revealed that he had no one to really open up to during his incarnation and was also suspicious of the motives of those who appeared to be supportive of him. He explained that his strict and harsh upbringing by his father Joseph, had a huge negative impact on his character. He lamented that he didn’t have the time to grow up naturally like other children. He was forced to train hard and was put into the limelight at an early age. Because of all the scolding and beating by his father when he didn’t lived up to his expectation, he was in constant fear and his self-worth was diminished. He also felt guilty when his brothers were punished by his father, when they didn’t perform as well as him during training. All the trauma led him to become a guarded and reclusive adult. When he was alone, he spent a lot of time day-dreaming and that ironically helped him receive divine inspiration for his songs easily. As such, he didn’t need to sit down and struggle to write the next song, like other artistes.

According to the spirit of Michael, his happiest moments came when he was playing with children, because he felt those children were just being themselves and had no filters like adults. He also clarified that he had never abused the kids. His biggest regret was that he never got a chance to find his true self, because he was forced to become an adult at an early age. Also, he was never taught to express his emotions and as such, had to keep his feelings all to himself. Despite the turmoil he went through, the millions of lives who were touched by his effort made his struggle worth it. His parting words were for parents to give ample room and time to their children to grow and discover themselves gradually. Even if the children made mistakes, he explained that every set back, should be viewed as a step up. This last statement reminds me of the advice by many holistic healers that it is imperative for everyone to nurture their inner child…to always live, play and grow at his/her own pace.

Fame & Fortune

I think everybody should get rich and famous and do everything they ever dreamed of so they can see that it’s not the answer.

– quote of wisdom from the famous actor/comedian Jim Carrey.

The REAL game of Life!

A little wisdom goes a long way,

In handling the cards we have been dealt with in life.

Everyone wants to get a straight flush,

But in most cases,

It remains just a dream.

Even getting a pair of Aces,

Is rare and far between.

Though the Kings and Queens are elusive,

The game still has to be played.

With wisdom, the cards could be rearranged…

Calling upon the best card for each moment.

Ultimately, the emphasis is on our strategy…

And not whether the game is to be won or lost.

As such, the REAL reward lies …

In the thrill and experience of playing.

So, play with wisdom and play to one’s content.
